Colorado's first commercial
lavender farm is a source of enjoyment and relaxation for young and old. The farm is located between Longmont and
Lafayette near the intersection of Highway 287 and Lookout Road. So, it is an easy weekend drive for nearly everyone
living along Colorado's Front Range and a wonderful destination for others visiting Colorado. Hopefully you
can visit in 2011
The Season That Never Was
You can't fool mother nature. Thanks to a July hail storm and a sizzling August, we didn't have enough blooms at the farm
this year to open for picking. We hope next year is a better year.
You can find all of the products on-line. And, the lavender booth runs every Saturday at the Cherry Creek Fresh Market
at the corner of 1st and University in Denver - just west of Bed Bath and Beyond. Market hours are 8am until 1pm on Saturday.
It’s a great market.
Let me know if you have ideas for new lavender products. I will do my best to develop your suggestions
into wonderful new products.
There are more shops carrying
products from the farm. You can also find lavender products at Fruehauf's located
at 1665 33rd Street in Boulder. That is just north of Arapahoe on 33rd. And if you haven't been there in a
while, you need to stop in. They have a great selection of patio furniture you can't find anywhere else these
days. But, wait until you see their gift selection. It is fantastic. Also, you can see
the products at Nest, 2015 Ionosphere St, in Prospect, on the south side of Longmont.
Renee's store is restocked as of April 14th with your favoite products from the lavender farm. If you haven't
been to Nest in a while, you better stop in soon and see all of Renee's new inventory.
When you do stop in, tell her that the Lavender Guy sent you. In Greeley, you can find the lavender products at Warm Hugs, located at 916 9th Avenue. Suzanne's store is just east of the courthouse. And
she has reopened as of January 24 in an enlarged space. It is a real gem in Greeley. You will find unique gifts
including Suzanne's own convenient cooking creations.
I
must apologize for anyone who mistakenly tried to find Colorado MountainView Lavender items at The Brass Bed in Cherry Creek.
I only deal with retailers of integrity.
